News in brief

It has been another busy and exciting year for Chorleywood Music, with our work in the local community continuing to grow and more events planned than ever before.
We’ve formed a new choir and a new string ensemble, adding to the many smaller groups already thriving within Chorleywood Music and creating even more opportunities for people to make music.
Also new this year is Chorleywood Young Musician of the Year. Formerly our flagship Rickmansworth Young Musician competition, it has been renamed and brought firmly home to Chorleywood, with the support of Chorleywood Parish Council and, of course, Chorleywood Music.
And there is plenty to look forward to. 2027 marks our 10th anniversary year, as well as conductor Daniel Hogan’s final season with the Orchestra. We have some very special concerts and events planned to celebrate the milestone, say farewell to Daniel, and welcome our new baton-wielder, Ryan Hepburn.
