News in brief

This Autumn term features two concerts with Rickmansworth Young Musicians of the Year performing concertos with the Chorleywood Orchestra. Iván Cherednichenko Carrillo, pictured, played the Saint Saen’s Cello Concerto in September and Robby Cassels will play Beethoven’s 4th Piano Concerto in November.
Many of our members are involved in music making with young performers and we explore the various opportunities provided by our members in our feature on page 2.
As is now custom, our ensemble players will be busy throughout December performing festive arrangements and carols at a variety of local venues including churches and care homes.
